- I sing frequently.
- I have a good brain for lyrics.
- I love to write. Mostly about the boyfriends I wish I could have.
- Maths is my best subject. I’m taking A-level this year, and then Further next year.
- I prefer Heat to New Scientist.
- I’m a celebrity junkie. Anything and everything, I will read.
- I truly care about Jordan and Peter.
- I want to go to Cambridge University, but I have no idea what I want to study there.
- Music makes me smile.
- Everything from Jamie T to Dizzee Rascal to Girls Aloud, I adore.
- I don’t hate Miley Cyrus.
- I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, coated in a layer of cynicism.
- I can’t quite get my head around Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson.
- I want to get married, and have lots of lovely kids.
- Preferably not with someone more than half my age. Ahem.
- I don’t generally have a problem with big age gaps, but there are twenty-three years between them, and he is still a teenager. He’s going to be a teenage father! Hello teen pregnancy rates???
- I find Chris Pine in Star Trek stupidly attractive.
- Ditto Joseph Gordon-Levitt in (500) Days of Summer.
- Which is one of my favourite movies, by the way.
- Along with 10 Things I Hate About You, Legally Blonde, She’s The Man, and John Tucker Must Die.
- Yeah, I mostly like cheesy teen stuff.
- As a rule, I pretty much hate end-of-the-world disaster movies.
- QI is my favourite TV show.
- Closely followed by Never Mind the Buzzcocks and ER.
- I can’t be bothered with Gossip Girl now that Chuck and Blair are together.
- Also, Chace Crawford is a bit nice.
- I don’t truly admire many people.
- But Joanna Lumley is definitely one.
- I can’t quite decide on the others. Although I quite wish Stephen Fry was my uncle.
- I do well in exams.
- Except English. I mean, I have a fairly decent vocabularly, and I’m hardly illiterate, but those exams just kill me.
- I like boys with piercings. I don’t know when I discovered this, because I’m pretty sure it only happened recently.
- Like, when I saw that guy in my tutor group, recently.
- He’s also a bit nice.
- I don’t drink much. Usually because I’m too concerned that one of my more inebriated friends is going to fall over and crack their head open or something.
- Also because I don’t like the feeling of not knowing what I’m doing.
- I’m very competitive about things that matter to me.
- I don’t like people beating me in exams that I’ve tried hard in.
- I know that’s probably quite a bad thing.
- If I really want something, I’ll work as hard as I need to to get it, but no more.
- I’m essentially fairly lazy.
- I would spend my life in my pyjamas if I could.
- I hate it when people get ‘you’re’ and ‘your’ confused.
- But I’m not too fussed about ‘they’re’, ‘there’ and ‘their’.
- I’m probably too tolerant of people.
- I have never lost a friend because we didn’t agree about something.
- I tend not to take sides.
- I don’t think it’s bad to bitch about someone behind their back, and then be nice to them to their face.
- Mostly because when I bitch about people, I’m just saying what I think they’ve done wrong. And because it’s not really my place to tell them that, I’ve let it slide by the next time I see them.
- I can’t be purposely mean to someone.
- I either talk too much, or too little.
- I don’t hate anyone. There are people I get irritated with, but I’m fairly sure that everyone’s got some niceness in there somewhere.
- I try not to judge on appearances. But sometimes it’s just too funny to mock the greebs that gather in the town centre.
- Or the girls who have orange faces and foundation lines.
- Because that’s pretty unexcusable, really. Sort yourself out girls.
- I can’t stand caked on mascara.
- I lie about a lot.
- But only about little stuff, that just makes life that little bit easier.
- I started learning HTML when I was eleven.
- That’s not a lie, either. Neopets FTW, right?
- Some kid once decided to try and impress me by saying that he was a brown belt in karate.
- I’m a black belt.
- I accidentally punched myself in the face once.
- I have never broken a bone.
- I’ve been to France, New Zealand, Spain and Florida.
- I want to visit the rest of America, Europe, Asia and Peru.
- This summer, I fully intent to take a road trip round Britain. Although I am completely reliant on my friends for the driving and car part of this fabulous plan.
- I can drive in October.
- But by the time I’ve saved for lessons and actually passed the test, I’ll probably only have a few months in a car before I leave for uni.
- I was moved up a year, so I don’t turn seventeen until Year 13.
- So technically, I’m still in compulsory education.
- Which sucks.
- I love every single season. Spring and autumn I like especially though, because they’re when everything changes.
- When the leaves change colour is my favourite part of the year.
- Almost tied with when the blossom appears.
- Sunrises make me think of travelling the world.
- Sunsets make me think of love.
- I once mistook a cat for an elf.
